GL2066 Stainless data cable reeler
A small stainless data cable reeler, supplies power and signal to a sonar and camera probe at the end of a manipulator for bridge foundation inspection. The system will be used to build up a baseline dataset for all the bridges in the county and then for inspection after storms. This should hopefully allow bridges to be re-opened more quickly after major flood events as the probe unlike manned inspection does not need to wait for water levels to recede.
